I am 29 weeks, and I just wanted to thank everyone for your concern and prayers one week ago, when I had a kidney stone. I want to express how thoroughly I believe in the power of prayer--i went back for a second ultrasound and my kidney function is now normal and there is no stone. They say it must have been a small stone (2mm) as I didn't feel the excruciating pain when it went through my ureter. I am very thankful and lucky and excited to be a mom!
I also had my glucose screening and I am happy to say, that despite my risk factors and family history of diabetes, my blood sugar was perfect! Everything is on target and my doctor said I have a "beautiful belly!" I really like her now lol :).
I have 10 weeks left guys, and now I go in every 2 weeks. Thanks everyone for all the gifts and the shower- I will be putting together the nursery soon and taking pictures of all the wonderful things we got. That nursery is looking more and more ready for a baby!

Oh thank God! I am happy for you and your family Samantha :)
Thanks for your concern- prayer is really the answer- it always has been of course, but in the past few years I have come to truly attribute good things more to God's grace, and less to coincidence. I hope your last few months go smoothly!
I'm glad to hear that you're all better.
I am sooo excited for you!
I am having my test next Tuesday and hoping my results are good.
I can not believe how fast time has been going by.
Thank goodness you don't have GD. How the heck did I get it??? And what a miracle about the kidney stone.
I definitely thought I would have to take that second glucose test, but it looks like I'm good--the doctor even said I was a healthy weight pre-pregnancy...I had to laugh and tell her that every thing I have read has always said I was 'overweight'--she says not to go by things like BMI. She says to go by fat percentage.
Also while measuring my belly she said, "wow you have good muscle tone!" lol!!! She said, "You seem like the type that will get right back down to your pre-preg weight. Did you workout before you got pregnant?" what!? I said 'no!.." she was really nice and flattered me by telling me i had a 'beautiful belly' but I think she had to say it because she knew i was insecure about my stretchmarks which you know, have extended on up my belly.
I have my headphones on my belly right now trying to get lucas to move. I don't remember feeling him move today. I am gonna start those kick counts.
i can't believe i only have 10 weeks left!
Your doc sounds like a dream come true.
