So now these are the main things we have yet to get:
~*mural*~

~*faux-wood blinds + Valance*~

~*Glider+Ottoman*~
We keep receiving things from friends that had babies and no longer need certain things. Our game night friends Jim + Shawna just gave us a playpack, a bouncer, a bumbo, and more cute boys clothes. I am 31 weeks now, and the days are going by even slower. At least Thanksgiving is just around the corner--so far John has it off *keeping my fingers crossed*. And mom is going to make a big turkey and ham, and I will make all the sides. It will be nice to have a big family dinner--it's been a few years. I can't believe this is the last year we will be celebrating the holidays without a baby of our own! I can't wait to see what Lucas looks like and what his personality is like.
By the way I have been finding his heartbeat with the monitor fairly easily recently--it's only a matter of time before I can find a way to record it--even if it's with my digital camera. It's so comforting to be able to check up on him without going to a doctor. He sure does get the hiccups a lot though.
Oh, and one more thing on our list of things to buy:
~*chevy equinox (family car)*~

The room already looks cute. It's going to look even better once it's finished. I'm excited for the mural to go up.
thanks brianne- i can't believe in 9 more weeks lucas will be in that nursery. i am excited to hear him cry!
I bet you'll have that bassinet in your room at first. But it does look nice all together with everything in the nursery.
actually, the cradle is already in our bedroom! i walk by it every night and can't wait to put him in it. I was watching 'a baby story' yesterday and there was a baby born at 31 weeks (placenta previa/preterm labor) and he was a little under 4 lbs. Its so cool to think that lucas could be born now, crying and pink and all.
Awwww your nursery looks so perfect and ready for Lucas! When do you plan to get the mural?
hmm i dont know...i can't be too greedy. We just had flooring put in today. I have to wait for the right time to ask Johnny!
I totally hear ya. There are still TONS of things we need. But we have to take it one day at a time.
I want to write a blog about the things we need, but I want to word it in a way that doesn't sound like I am asking for things from my family/friend readers.
I have been working on that blog today :) I will post it soon.
Yeah, it makes it seem more feasible if you continually list what you want/need. So far, it works for us! It reminds me to keep my eyes open for promotions and deals. good luck getting all thats on your list- looks like you got a lot from your baby shower!
