Vaccination Study in the Netherlands

The RED is for fully vaccinated kids, the PURPLE is for non-vaccinated kids.
Sorry it's not clear- i couldn't figure out how to get the graphs from the pdf file. Click on the picture to view it full size. They basically indicate that vaccinated kids for the first 5 years of their lives, were many times ironically more likely to have many physical ailments and behavioral problems, not to mention autism.





This study was also sent to me by Shawna. It may not be a very large-scale study, but at this point, any and every study is significant. I thought it pretty convincing that the vaccinated kids were way more likely to display aggressive behavior or develop some form of autism. Thanks Shawna.

Bath Playtime

Lucas took a big poopy today so we had bath time in the morning. He loves bath time so we played a little longer than usual. Isn't he a big boy?! I can't believe how big he is for a 3 month old, compared to my friend Kirsten's 2 month old! But I love the chubbiness! He's getting that good breastmilk to make him big and strong--he is even doing sit ups and trying to get up!

Vaccinations?

I haven't posted any Easter pics yet, because I have become increasingly concerned with some information that I learned about vaccinations. My good friend Shawna researches all of the information she can about immunization shots because her son Alex's apparent autism is suspected to have been triggered by harmful chemicals they still have in vaccinations. Jenny McCarthy (and many other autism activists) are hesitant to outright say that they blame the shots, but it is obvious that it is one of the main suspects in environmentally-caused cases. Shawna just had a test done for the chromosome syndrome "Fragile X" on her 2-yr old Alex, which basically determines if the autism is genetic. Well, his wasn't. And he was talking around 1-1 1/2 yrs just before his last round of shots, and suddenly stopped. I think it is pretty convincing, that possibly along with other environmental factors, the harmful preservatives in the shots could have contributed.

It has weighed on my mind heavily, and we decided we would have his 2 month shots anyway and take the risk. While he is obviously okay as of now, I heard something shocking that I guarantee most of you haven't heard. Shawna told me that some of the shots were created with aborted fetal tissue...ahhh!!!!!! I honestly couldn't believe it when I heard it because I was sure I would have heard about it from Catholic or Pro-life groups. Well, I looked it up online and talked to another mom from my church who just had her 5th baby in February and she said it is true too. Many of the shots have harsh chemicals/human or animal tissue, or were cultured on aborted tissue from 2 abortions back in the 60's. They don't even give the 3 month old fetuses names; just the label WI or MRC-5. I am going to talk to his doctor next month (when he would get his next round) and to our priest.
After reading some more articles, there are certain pro-life alternatives for some of the vaccines, but some of the new ones like for chickenpox, don't have an alternative so we are not going to vaccinate him for that--he can get chickenpox like we did. Some of them also contain MSG and sorbitol (which I am badly allergic to) so I will be asking my doctor if we can either delay or substitute those as I don't know if Lucas is allergic to it too. I can tell it is already going to frustrate me with the doctor if A.) he does know about the fetal tissue and doesn't care, or B.) he was ignorant to it to begin with. I am also going to ask him to sign the previously posted AUL (Americans United for Life- against forcing all OBGYNS to perform abortions). If he doesn't meet my expectations, I am not going to keep him as his doctor because we are now paying the big bucks to see him instead of going to a base.

The main problem is that schools now will not admit kids who are not vaccinated for everything, but I heard for certain ones you can be an exception for religious reasons. Shawna (who is pregnant with her 2nd!) and I hope that by the time our kids start school, things will have changed regarding vaccinations. It is scary to think what our kids are (and what we were) being injected with.

New Mom Haircut/dye

Iris ironically got her hair cut today and blogged about it, and last night I dyed my hair (not sure about the color) and today got it cut a little bit. It may not be a drastic change, but the layers will make my thick hair more manageable. The salon was very good and I would reccommend them. Let me know what you all think:

Defending Doctors & Nurses

Imagine if the only doctor you could find to deliver your baby was also an abortionist. That's Planned Parenthood's new goal -- to run every pro-life healthcare provider out of the medical profession. According to David Stevens of the Christian Medical Association, a Planned Parenthood lawyer told him in a recent debate on National Public Radio (NPR),

"If you are unwilling to provide a legal healthcare procedure, you have no business being a doctor."

In other words, if you're a doctor who is not willing to perform an abortion, get another job. Last year, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) implemented an important rule that forbids hospitals and other healthcare programs who receive American tax dollars from discriminating against pro-life doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Now President Obama wants to overturn it.

This radical agenda of Planned Parenthood will cause thousands of healthcare workers to be targeted with discrimination claims by allies of the pro-abortion lobby. Is your obstetrician pro-life? Planned Parenthood would prefer that you have no doctor at all than for your doctor to be pro-life.

Shortages in doctors already exist -- one-third of rural woman live in counties with no OB/GYN. U.S. Senator and practicing obstetrician Dr. Tom Coburn told CNSNews.com that he was willing to defy the law if President Obama tries to force pro-life doctors into doing abortions:

Lucas and His Talking Doggy

He was talking to his doggy today, and smiling when it played the "I Love You" song, but then when it wouldn't respond, he got angry...

Pushing Buttons

Lucas is getting smarter everyday. A few nights ago, he was in his walker and he studied all the buttons in front of him and was able to push them a few times. You can tell it boosted his confidence because he had a big proud smile after pushing them. Enjoy! sorry its so dull...we need to replace some lightbulbs..



And these cute pictures were taken 2 nights ago, just before John left for the week- he will be on the ship probably til next Sunday. Then he comes back for a week, (OUR 5 YR ANNIVERSARY-APRIL 14TH) and then he goes back out to sea for 3 weeks...but that should be it for a year or so!

Go check the video out on the website above. A 26 yr old man named Jory Aebly, was shot in the head execution-style in a mugging in Cleveland, Ohio. He went to Metro Health hospital, which I just read is reknowned for miracles they attribute to the late Pope John Paul II. One of the priests from the Pastoral Care of the hospital Father Art, who prayed by his bedside to Pope John Paul II, says that when John Paul was alive, he said he would always pray for the patients at this hospital, and gave him a few rosaries that he blessed. Jory was the recipient of the last rosary, and despite what all the doctors deemed an "unsurvivable injury", he was recently discharged and sent home, even able to walk down some stairs, and he spoke at a press conference to thank everyone for their prayers. Amazing.

Lucas is 11 weeks!

Getting better at walking! He can push backward a little bit on his toes: He loves to look at the steering wheel buttons (and sometimes presses them, probably accidentally) and also smiles at the little "Warning" sticker on the walker, that says not to pick up the walker with your baby in it lol. Here is a little vid of him smiling at the buttons-sorry it's sideways! Sorry, the video isn't working right now!!!

A Poop Blog

Lucas hadn't been pooping regularly for a while, and now it's about every 3 days= an explosion. He seems okay with it though, and it looks to be normal according to the doctor and other moms online. I didn't expect it since he is breastfed, but it's not constipation or dehydration, it's just normal since breastmilk is so low in fat and he is growing.
And also at his 2 month shot visit, he was 13 lbs 10 oz which is average weight, and he was 24 1/4 inches long, which is in the 75-90% for length. He's got a normal sized head at 16 inches :)

A couple days ago he watched me in his little swing as I cut the grass in the front for the first time this year...and I am still sore in my back of my legs today lol. But John appreciated it, and we won't get in trouble with the dang homo-ners association.

Lucas has fully recovered from his shots, but May isn't too far away (when he gets his next dose) and he will be older then and therefore look even more betrayed by me when he gets them! He is eating more these days, albeit less often. I fear that my supply isn't high enough to sate him for another 3 months!
