Lucas is getting smarter everyday. A few nights ago, he was in his walker and he studied all the buttons in front of him and was able to push them a few times. You can tell it boosted his confidence because he had a big proud smile after pushing them. Enjoy! sorry its so dull...we need to replace some lightbulbs..
And these cute pictures were taken 2 nights ago, just before John left for the week- he will be on the ship probably til next Sunday. Then he comes back for a week, (OUR 5 YR ANNIVERSARY-APRIL 14TH) and then he goes back out to sea for 3 weeks...but that should be it for a year or so!
OMG I totally watched the entire video in amazement. Isn't it awesome how they reach for things!??? Not only that but pushing buttons!! AHHHHHHHHH I can't get over how cute that is. And they are so young doing this.
I want to get Eddie one of these; http://www.walmart.com/catalog/detail.gsp?image=http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/03/28/84/13/0003288413353_500X500.jpg&product_id=2693384&iIndex=1&isVariant=false&corpCard=false&type=-9223372036854775808
Have you seen them?
Grandma already wants to get him a walker too. LOL! I don't remember kids developing this fast before. Do you? Also, grandma has put him in a bouncer swing. You should get one for Lucas. They do bounce a little on their toes! It's hilarious :D Eddie was on one at Grandmas this weekend. His toes didn't reach the ground too well, but when they did, he would push himself up and the chair would bounce. It made him smile. Awwww...the baby toy industry has got it made! :D
Little Lucas is getting to be so smart, handsome and lovable.
well, i rushed lucas to get a walker--but i think he likes it and I dont leave him in too long. I think he will end up walking earlier because of it though.
I looked at those play yard/gym things, and i just thought since we have all the wood flooring, we should just get the walker so he can get around. Thanks for watching all the video. Whenever I watch videos back, i realize how boring 90 % of it is...i need to cut off more of it and just have the cool parts huh? lol. I was pretty impressed that he was purposely pushing them and enjoying that he could. I am looking into finding a pool to take him swimming since he loves baths, but both military bases are kinda far, and I don't want to pay for a gym membership because I wont always have a car and it wouldnt be worth it.
since johns gone this week, i may just get up the courage to take him to the military base indoor pool. i will have to find a baby floatee outfit thing. already got the swimmer diapers.
When Ethan was a little guy I signed up for a Mommy and me swim class at the park. You should look into something like that there. Ethan loved it. We all really miss the pool. We've always had summers with a pool at our apartments where we've lived, but not here. Though here they have little water playgrounds at the parks for the kids, which are better for me since I can't take two little ones in the pool. Both our kids have always loved the water, especially the beach! They are both fearless of the waves, almost scary how they just go for it and being so little. I love the title picture of little Lucas. Too cute.
i wish we had a pool somewhere close that i didn't have to pay too much for, but i dont think there is. plus we need an indoor one right now with the weather.
i looked all day yesterday for a pool, and the one at fort eustis base which is kinda far anyway, is closed because they have to redo the pool due to new regulations (since some law was passed when someone drowned by being sucked against the drain...scary) I would get a ymca membership if I had a car and could go regularly when john was at work..until then, looks like the bath will have to do lol.
