Frankie is suddenly learned to crawl, and abruptly pulls himself up sometimes! Of course he likes to go after what he shouldn't (cords, shoes, crickets that get out of the frog cage..). He also cut two teeth--one on top one on bottom. He is getting tired of being spoon fed and prefers to pick things up and shove them in his mouth making the biggest mess possible.

His Godparents Tim & Teresa got him this outfit :) His face was getting irritated again, and although I would like to narrow it down to one irritant, I realize that his eczema just means that his skin is extra sensitive to everything. I took him to a dermatologist who basically said he needed a stronger steroid cream...I was reluctant, but it did work. I only used it a few days, and now just put cetaphil lotion on him after baths. His face and elbows and ears are almost completely healed already :) He's probably going to have horrible allergies just like his mom :(
This was my back at an allergy prick test in 2012--shocked the dr that I reacted to everything (71 specimens) except pine...
My allergies are really bad lately, and I think the pregnancy exacerbates them. I'm sneezing (and thus peeing) and eyes are itchy and watery and red all the time. Claritin doesn't help, nor Zyrtec. I am going to see an allergist again and see about shot regimens I guess.
This is our monitor--I am so relieved to be able to see my baby boy on the monitor. I texted this pic to John when he was on nights last week--Frankie is such a sweet baby.
When daddy works night we have movie nights--I think we watched Peewee's Big Adventure 3 times :)
I like Paul Reubens and I think PeeWee's original show was a cool kids show. He was interesting. It's sad that his career was wrecked the way it was---I mean, compare his minorly bad judgment call to everything celebrities do now...it's nothing compared to the ignorant celebrities following the mainstream media in their anti-Semitic vitriol (or anti-Christian, or anti-family...the list goes on)...I mean, come on, who are the ones using children as human shields?! Suicide bombing all over the world? Capturing, torturing, mutilating girls genitals, brainstorming their young to kill jews and saying "back in the ovens"??!! And they beg us ignorant peasants to follow them and el presidente in asking Israel to agree to the ceasefire Hamas offers...now that they accepted, and WERE attacked by Hamas (who knew you couldn't trust em?)- now what? Still tweeting "freepalestine?" Idiots.
Ok back to my happy place...
We have started an official curricula with Kolbe Academy for homeschooling. More on that in the next blog..but we got these cute little books on saints in our book order, and the kids (and I) are learning a lot! Here Lucas learned about St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and was painting a picture of her saving a baby bird. She was the first American saint, and has a very moving story. It was nice to hear about a mother and wife surviving the hardships she did, to go on to open a girls school, and orphanage. St Paul's story was a lot different for the kids to hear of course!
This baby is so cuddly and squishy and smiley--everyone just falls in love I tell you!
He likes this swing at the park--and his face is cleared up!
L & O take good care of him--especially Olivia. She is my helpy helperton for sure. Very protective and observant of what he does.
I finished this 2000 piece puzzle to be framed soon :)
I bought this little playard ...it's cheaper than babyproofing 3200 sq ft of house..
And some more Franko:
The weather has been nice so I've been opening the windows letting the kids do playdoh on the porch while Frankie naps and after their schoolwork is done. Very easy clean-up this way...but my flowerbed (more like weeds) is getting colorful with playdoh bits.
