John finally had a day off between overtime so we took the babies to Challenger park. They had a lot of fun but it was still pretty hot outside so we didn't stay too long--and gave them lots of juice and water in the car.
This is so funny to me: they don't listen to me when I say "smile" for pictures, so I started saying, "show me your teeth" and Lucas knows to smile:
John says he can see the asian in Lucas more now...can you?
This is how Olivia responded:
They are sort of looking like actual twins huh?
She thinks these little rocks are treasure.
This was her giving the camera a kiss lol.
My favorite :)
Don't they look old?!

I love the last one of you and her! So pretty! I can't believe how big they are getting. Lucas looks the same just bigger, but Olivia looks different every time I see a picture of her! Miss you guys!!!
What sweet kiddos you have. Too cute!
Shawna--thanks! We miss you guys too. what do you say we alleviate that and come visit for your boys' bdays?
brianne! I'm so glad to hear from you. Thank you. And thanks so much for that huge favor you did us when we were in CA. Hope you and your adorable ones are doing well. :)
Seriously!? That would be so awesome! Jim isn't working as much over-time as he was last time you were here. And if you didn't have any plans for Thanksgiving, he is off the whole week! :)
All really great framing photos!
I really giggled when I saw that pic of Olivia smiling/showing her teeth :D
lol. I thought it was pretty funny! Thanks Iris. I have so many pictures I want to develop and frame...but I don't want to make holes in the apartment walls lol. Gotta wait for a house!
Shawna--for real! I am talking to John about--it's in the works lol. He wants to also, so we are going to see about using his vacay time in november. I will write you once I get more details :) HOGO GAME NIGHT(S)!
We are doing well. I've been busy with school and kiddos. I'm actually looking into getting Ethan evaluated, hopefully soon. I really think he has Asperger's or some type of high functioning Autism. He has an amazing teacher this year and she agrees with me that whatever it is he has, it's something more than just ADHD. Been looking into neurofeedback as well since I'm against meds. It's been a struggle to get someone to really seriously diagnose him. I'm working on it and right now it's my biggest challenge. Been pretty frustrated at hearing all the time that his behavior is just my parenting skills or lack of. I know it's not me but I understand that the parents are the first to be blamed.
And about helping you guys out... that was no biggie for us. We loved having you and if you ever come back down here feel free to stay with us.
