Femininininity

I am trying to be more feminine. John and I had a "discussion" a few months ago about how we see each other, and he said he doesn't see me as 'dainty' since I am as tall as him. I told him I don't see him as very manly either, but it's not because of his height! lol. Anyway, since then I have been attempting to be more feminine--I had always prided myself on the fact that I wasn't high maintenance. I rarely went to a salon, never got my nails done, never went tanning, rarely wore perfume, and only occasionally shaved my legs lol. Plus, I have a sense of humor that really enjoys being dorky/offensive (i.e. toilet humor) in front of John. It's entertaining! And anything I buy cosmetic-wise is the cheapest/best deal. I always thought John was grateful I wasn't spending loads of money on clothes and girly stuff--and he was. But he said he would now rather me be girly, than frumpy and always wearing his clothes. While I am still a bargain shopper, I want to constantly be endeavoring to improve myself and my marriage. So along with my weight loss attempt, I am going to be more 'girly' for my husband :). So Dr. Laura of me huh?

On that note, I went to Ulta again a few days ago. A lot of the store is overpriced, but they do have some good deals and coupons. I bought their brand Mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss, used a $3.50 off coupon, and since I spent $17, I got a FREE 15 PC SET! It's worth $88. I thought it was pretty cool-and the bag was included. Haven't really checked out how the products look on me, but so far I think it's a deal.

John bought me those flowers last week (and they do have my fav lillies!)--he's doing his part to be more manly too-helping me more with the babies and house stuff. :) Thank you Johnny.

It's tough to look beautiful while watching a baby. But you're right. I try to get ready RIGHT before G gets home. I wash my face, brush my hair and rinse my mouth out. I also change my clothes. I too need to go out and get some new stuff every once in a while. But I am like you. I want to be frugal. I am sure you will find your balance. Lip gloss and perfume do wonders :)

true. I need to find a balance. and i try to clean up a bit before he gets home---but more on that when I answer your email about having 2 babies!! Thats a good idea though, to ask before you do it. I will answer you honestly and thoroughly tonight if i have time. thanks for commenting and writing! :)
