Since I am only 11 weeks, they are having me come back next wednesday for another ultrasound at 12 weeks, which is when they have you do some bloodwork to check for things like down syndrome. My doctors know I would never kill my baby, but since this test is only a blood test, and not invasive, I opted to allow it. If there happens to be something wrong, we will have time to learn about it and make the best of things. I am excited to go back next week- hopefully we can get some video next time.
Funny thing to note--the ultrasound technician said since the new estimate for my due date is 1/9/2010, and my old due date was 1/15/2010...she said to cut it in half...well, what's in between 9 and 15? 12....another January 12th Hodge!

yes, these are the best u/s photos i ever had! thanks everyone, for still being excited/supportive, even though i just had a baby lol.
iris- me too---i am hoping they will try to guess next week; my other doctor said around my 12 week u/s, "i think i see a winkie!" lol.
shawna- i know! when are you guys coming home and when is your next appt?
Sarah- i was very touched and happy that SHE was bouncing around so much--even the technician was laughing. yeah, i have been nauseaus and TIRED this whole time. and my stupid kidney bugging me again. but i am hopeful that the nausea will cede with the 1st trim.
brianne- yes i was so happy john got to go--i could tell by his face he didnt expect a.)an u/s or b.) a big clear view of his bouncing baby! we tend to forget theres another life thriving within me, when we are obsessed with every little thing lucas does lol.
