Here's one of Sarah's gifts we got in the mail this week- (she allowed us to put it together now!) And John figured it all out with my help :) This is the rocking cradle we will have next to our bed in our room. This weekend after the shower, we are going to pick up the crib and changing table for the nursery.

How exciting. I remember getting everything ready for our baby. Fun times. I felt so excited to hold our baby, I'm sure you feel the same about your baby Lucas. Brandon and I use to stand over the empty crib telling each other that in a little while longer we would have a baby sleeping there. Or that we would have a little one riding in the back of the car with us. That it's no longer just him and I.
Wow, can't believe how fast it shipped. Glad of it. Jose and I really like that cradle, better than the overpriced one we chose. OUrs only has a weight limit of 15lbs, which Maxine almost is.

Not sure if Lucas is the same, but our guy is still as I move. As soon as I stop moving, it seems that he wakes up. Conclusion: kids like to be rocked ;)
Yes it is very cute and with the casters, very easy to move where we want it. I received another gift from target (I assume it's also from you sarah*) and I can't wait to open everything and put that room up and put a baby in it!
and brianne- we do that every day lol...say "pretty soon lucas will be laying here in bed with us," or "pretty soon these will be working breasts" or "pretty soon tyrones gonna go crazy with jealousy." lol. we are going to need a second car pretty soon too- our cobalt is not conducive for a family. But we have a few more things to clear up before getting that 2009 chevy equinox (probably in march 09)
And yeah that shipped pretty quickly- most of the items in my registry say, "usually ships in 3-5 days" or even "24 hours." It's so fun to get packages! And John enjoyed building something lol. thanks so much!
yes i sent one other thing from target so that's probably from me. you can open it, too. goes w/ the cradle.
it looks very cutesies. If we ever have a boy, he will sleep in box full of newspapers to toughen him up. argggggggg!

I know! Our son, if God would be so kind to give us one some day, is going to be a miniature version of his Papa. And then some day not so miniature, maybe even bigger than his daddy.
