This picture above was taken in my backyard. This bug is at least 2 inches. Very nasty. The eyes are all far apart and bulging! I looked it up and found that it's a "cicada" which in many countries is a 'stir fried delicacy'. Imagine how crunchy AND full of goo they are. They have a pretty annoying song too. I found this animated picture on wikipedia of a baby one breaking out of it's skin...isn't that disgusting?

Holy moly! Bugs are fascinating, but also a little icky too I think.

Gross! I'd have Brandon smash them for me if they got inside the house. There aren't too many bugs I'd free back into nature. Mosquito hawks, ladybugs, and butterflys. Mostly everything else gets smashed.
Thanks for the picture of the window. That thing belongs in prehistoric times.
