Grapevine Tradition 2015
It's been another year, and another pregnancy, and it was time to visit Grapevine, the Christmas Capital of Texas. We started going back in 2012 when we came to visit TNT (we lived in Humble). We've returned each year with another Hodge baby, either soon to pop out, or recently...popped. :)
Here's a little rehash of the past few visits:

This year~2015~
Susan and Emily joined us this year and we had fun taking pictures, although it was much more crowded since it was the weekend. It was also Mr. Eusty's 1st bday! Sidenote--at his 1 yr checkup this week, he was 80th percentile for height, 37th percentile for weight...but 99 percentile for head circumference! haha. He's essentially Pops from the Regular Show!

Date Night with the Older Two
Here they are trying to look to cool for school for Susan
We had Emily stay with the babies so we could reward L & O for their 2nd qrtrs. We planned on going to this cool Ice adventure in this huge Gaylord Resort in Grapevine, where they could slide on ice and snow tube indoors. It's only 9 degrees inside so the babies wouldn't be practical to bring. I happened to call yesterday and of course, they were sold out--some company swooped in and bought every ticket for last night :( So we changed our plans. We decided to take them to a good dinner, and then to the Gift of Lights drive through display at the Texas Motor Speedway nearby.

This was a fun Santa--with a real beard. John was envious. He also has 7 kids!
As I looked for fun gluten free restaurants, I found one listed for "Devivo Bros", which is owned by a family very close to Tim and Teresa---we've had they delicious Italian cream cake at all the parties and baptisms lol. I didn't know they had GF menu! So we met with TnT for dinner. L & O were well-behaved and it was nice not to worry about screaming pooping messes. We even got them GF chocolate cake.
Then we drove through the lights display and at the end Santa was there for pics and fun:
I think older kid date nights will be regular thing :) They enjoyed getting all the attention for one night and we did too.
