I forgot a few cute pics that were mixed in with all our soccer practices/games so I'm posting them here:
Lucas is the sweetest big brother. He holds Eustace and rubs his head and sings a made up lullaby to him--not to impress anyone but simply to comfort his brother. And it works! Of course, he's still my biggest baby; last night he complained he couldn't sleep so I rocked him in my chair my bed for 2 minutes and he was out :)
He's a pretty good soccer player but he still needs to work on his running speed.
A few weeks ago, my mother's helper Emily brought her sister out for dinner (she was visiting from Houston). She was as sweet as Emily. Since it was a friday in lent, we couldn't bbq as planned, but I made fish dishes and it all turned out pretty good! I made panko/parmesan crusted salmon (with tabasco) tuna pasta salad with sundried tomatoes, potato salad, a regular romaine salad, and tuna cakes, which were not very good...crab cakes next time :)
Afterward we took a walk to the park and let the kids play. It's nice to go out in the spring, but the air here in Texas sometimes just makes you smell like dirt...and not like fresh dirt in the desert, but just kinda musty :( When the kids and John came back from soccer yesterday the house wreaked of it.
