Thanksgiving 2014

This is Frankie's designated seat of the house
Look at my pretty girl--when she's nice she's the prettiest thing!
We celebrated Thanskgiving a day late since John worked. I give John all the credit because he cooked most of the food--fried the turkey and baked the ham and helped me throw together the sides. I have been feeling ready to have this baby and tired easily! Teresa, Tim, their son Dillon and his girlfriend Brante came over to enjoy the meal with us. It was a nice night with lots of deep theological discussion of course :) Teresa brought so many great desserts---which we broke our gluten rule for (the kids just had ice cream). Italian cream cake from their friend's restaurant, a family (Aunt Pauline) recipe for pumpkin bread (so moist!) and pumpkin pie.

I have to say my favorite (as well as Frankie's) was the delicious ham--especially cold the next day!
I Didn't get too many pictures...sorry! Frankie is getting to be more of a crybaby everyday; doesn't bode well for baby #4's arrival.
Tim & Teresa bought this cute little outfit for Frankie's first birthday:

We also got Lucas' allergy panel done, but still are awaiting the results. He was so brave--here he is talking to the nurses about Super Mario of course.
He was proud to get his bee bandage
Frankie had a very general allergy blood test (not as extensive-or expensive-as the older kids) and it didn't unfortunately include the treenut or almond option, but it says as of now he is not allergic to gluten. We will still probably keep on with the same GF diet just in case and to keep from contamination. We stopped giving him almond milk because he was deficient in Vitamin D, and now that we know he is not allergic to dairy, we got organic whole milk for him. L & O's poop has been more normal so I think the diet is good for them. I just have to work with getting Olivia to drink more water, and try more things. She is the most stubborn kid and I have no leverage. It's exhausting to try to get her out of her moods when she's being defiant...
