Our citypasses also got us into the zoo free, and one morning it didn't seem too hot and sunny, so we went...but it was pretty crowded, we were all getting L & O's cold, and it got hot and humid. They had misters and a splash pad that made it somewhat bearable. The animals seemed to be too hot and tired to do much either!
Lucas has learned a new trick....never showing his face to the camera..very annoying.
I was glad he wanted me to hold him...he gets standoffish and mean to me when we have company over. Already dissing his mom! But eventually he misses me :)

Everybody's getting hot hungry and tired...and Norman was feeling pretty sick (didn't want to tell me til afterward...I think we are all better from the cold now though).
Olivia sounds like she is stuttering when she sings, "d-d-d-d-d-dora!"

So thankful they had a splashpad this time.
They also had this new dinosaur exhibit with moving roaring dinosaurs...kinda boring, but the kids liked it...they went to each dinosaur and said "whats up!?"
Olivia is holding a dinosaur tooth and Lucas is holding some skin lol. This T rex was pretty cool looking though.
And Norman :)
Then we went and ate and came home to relax after walking in all that heat. Great memories---but unfortunately they probably came to visit in the absolute hottest time in Houston. Next day we went to church and then chuck e cheese :)
