Today started out as a cold overcast morning, but Iris and I had already made plans to go to the Santa Monica Pier, as it was forecasted to be a sunny warm day. It warmed up and the sun came out, the traffic wasn't bad, and we parked right on the pier! Lucas Olivia and Eddie definitely had fun in the sand--and there is so much to look at and so many snacks, we ended up staying quite a while without any incidents lol. I like this pic--sandy mango face and all! It's been hard to get him to look at me or the camera lately, so I tell him "Say hi to susan!" and he knows to look at the camera and smile :)
Eddie was ambitious--even went off into the cold water!
Lucas liked to play this game with the birds...he threw this rubber ducky toward them and they'd jump or fly away and he'd laugh!

Jen-thanks! Thats one nice thing about CA...sorry you guys are covered in snow! hope chase had a happy 2 yr bday! I bet he's already ready for kindergarten that smart boy!
