Lucas alternative homeschool work

Lucas had a letter assignment in his english work, so I gave him the option of writing a letter to a company instead. (He writes to a couple friends/cousins, but I also want him to write to companies...it's always fun to see how they respond!) So he chose Taco Bell lol. He did this all by himself so I am proud!

Playing in the backyard

We have a good sized backyard and our lawn guys cut it real short so it's easier to pick up Tyrone's crap. Plus I ordered a poop scoop thing with liners. So we can finally use the backyard! It's been really nice out lately. Not too hot yet.
They all really like it--going to do some homeschool lessons outside soon :)

And here are the older two getting their first stripes on their belts in jiu-jitsu. I don't really understand the strategy in this sport yet, but they like it and get to go 5 x a week (p.e.!) I'd really like to see them compete in tournaments but they are only learning the basics for now. Their coaches are great.
Oh and this. Eusty has a nickname I call him. Bollum or Bollum head. It's from an old skit on that old show The Kids in the Hall. Eusty has a big bollum head, but he's still cute and CAN be sweet :) his dancing is pretty awesome. Here is the skit...good ol 3 thumbed Jake haha.

Here's a song he likes to bob his bollum head to:

Sharkarosa

Today we took the kids to Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch just north of us in Pilot Point. I saw a Groupon deal that was really cheap, and 2 yrs +under are free. It does not have sharks lol. (Lucas asked)
It was even better than city zoos in my opinion because it was more interactive and many of the animals were rescued from bad conditions. It looked like they all had ample space, activity, food and water.
We took the tram ride and got to feed horses, zebra, zorses, camels, emu, boar, reindeer, and llamas. Camels were the best, but Frankie got bit trying to feed them-he's okay.

Frankie LOVES lemurs--starting a collection of stuffed animal lemurs that he sleeps with haha. He was very excited to see them and we hope to go back and do the personal encounter with professional photos :)

Then we came home and I made ribs with my new pressure cooker---Frankie ate and passed out with his lemurs :)

New Things

Eusty fell in love w my friend's 15 yo daughter at our play date :)

This is my friend Jamie with her son Gavin. We met them at our new jiujitsu classes :)

Toni is so smiley and cute and squishy! Will upload her baptIsmail photos soon

Here's Pee nuh lope sitting on Nico :P

The kids are still learning moves at BJJ but I think they are excited to eventually spar
Here's our first real dining table, not a cheap piece from Ikea. We like this table esp since it's too high for Eusty to reach!
And here's my big boy Frankie--went pee in potty twice this week :) but we are struggling in taking away his paci...he is very attached to it at night....and Susan has moved to Arkansas so we figured it's time, even though he screams for a while at night and I feel bad. I hope hes over it soon...but I think we may have to take eustys away too since frankie will steal it...
