Exactly

The whole thing is great, but I can't stop laughing at 4:40.
I can't always bear to watch Gavin McInnes' stuff, as he can get pretty nasty. But the other half of the time he's spot on, while being hilarious.
I also love this old vid he made for dads working out at home:

Fort Worth Stockyards

We finally checked out downtown Fort Worth and the stockyards. It was humid and crowded but fun! And we had delicious Mexican food at Esparanza's. We met T snd Teresa there too. Hope to go back out for a date night soon.
Outside of Booger Red's bar with Buffalo Butt beer.

560

John's parents are in town from CA, so we planned a few fun things to do --one of which was taking them downtown to the reunion tower in Dallas, to the Wolfgang Puck restaurant 560, as a belated Mother's day gift. It's a classy place with a dress code.. but the food and sights were worth it :)

We started with Tamarind baby back ribs and Moscato.

Here's the Dealey plaza where we toured a few summers ago where JFK was assassinated.
We all got something different --I had quail, John had fish, Stan had steak, and Louise had lamb that was really good.

I had to try their dessert--so we got a banana dish and a strawberry rhubarb dish that was delicious.

Thank you Emily for babysitting :)

The restaurant rotated around so we could see all of Dallas and watch the sun go down while we dined. Fun time.

Mother's Day

I created this mother's day worksheet based on ones I saw online---I remember making a book for my mom and dad for mothers day and fathers day, and drawing them playing their instruments, my dad with his big mustache and glasses and tie. I wanted L & O to have those memories too. :)
  It was pretty cute:

So Lucas wrote:
I'm Samanath, 32 yrs old (almost), I like to sing and eat eggs. I always say "Lucas!" 2 or 3 times. I like when he cleans up, he laughs when I say "Koochie koo" (it's actually "oochie boochie"), John says I am beautyful, and I suck at chess haha.
Olivia wrote:
I'm Smantha (closer!) and am 31 yrs old (true). I sing and eat stew (surprised no one said taco bell), I always tell daddy to shave his beard (true), i like when she helps me (true), she laughs when I tickle her, dad says i'm pertty and my favorite song is "for red is clor that my baby wor"....also called "Yes It Is" by The Beatles, and I suck at vido games....she's never seen me play dr mario or zelda...:(

They did it without help and I like the drawings. If you didn't know, I do wear princess dresses daily. Also, I happened to be wearing my frozen Bluth banana shirt (which Lucas drew haha)

The baby boys in their batman pjs. Time for bed. Grandma Lou and Grandpa Stan are coming tomorrow for a couple weeks---hope they are ready for the noise and chaos!

It's warming up

Tyrone used to bite waves when we took him to the James River in VA, but now he bites bubbles--and barks at them. Was fun to watch!

Bollum...never knows what to do with himself.

I've been learning Chess from Lucas and he is really good! I usually lose. And he's so sweet about it too...whereas John is so smug and arrogant I hate losing to him!

Olivia is looking so much older...she is very smart so I already treat her as someone older than 6...but noticing how she is getting older physically is bittersweet :)

This was this morning---it was so hot I decided to let them use this tiny pool...the babies were too afraid and needed naps so it wasn't very fun for us...L & O enjoyed that 2 inches of water though lol.

Frankie wanted to go outside so bad, but then he snuck in to scarf down this GF bread...loser.
