Barefoot & Pregnant Again :)

Yes, we are due for #5 in January again. Was shocked because we still don't know how I keep catching pregnant or if it's contagious, but I guess God is blessing us with many children, and we will have to wait to adopt. We are happy, but scared naturally...Frankie & Eustace are crying a lot lately simultaneously so I am sure I will start growing gray hairs soon. The kids are doing well in homeschooling; we have started 2nd and 1st grade and are more than a year ahead for their ages.
Anyway, I surprised John (after surprising myself...) at a soccer game--the team yelled out "congratulations on baby # 5!" and he didn't believe it at first lol. Waiting on video from Lucas' soccer coach. He's very happy and excited to hopefully have another girl--we picked the name Toni Louise :)

Next week we will be driving to CA to visit both our families and make memories. I pray it goes smoother than I picture...with 2 whiny babies and me pregnant, and staying with his 94 yr old grandmother...God bless her with patience!

I haven't been taking pics with my good camera, so here are some from my phone. I will use the Nikon for the trip for sure though.

At least I lost 20 lbs before this pregnancy...using my fitbit and mfp to maintain healthy pregnancy weight. John lost 20 lbs with me too! We walk, I jog with Frankie on my back, or ride my spin bike. My heartrate and BP are excellent and I've increased my stamina and metabolism noticeably.
This was Olivia's drawing of herself with John..Apparently she thinks he looks like Shaggy from Scooby doo.
Believe me he looks like an angel but he's such a brat. Worst of all so far. Cannot go anywhere with this guy.
We had a pretty blue texas sky the other day with the sun breaking through.
Then we took a trip to the game store in Plano (huge nerd convention there nightly). We love these games but they are pretty expensive. Our game night friends from KC are coming out to visit...and possibly move here! We've got other friends hooked on them as well. :)

Lucas had some pain in his mouth..dentist said new molar is coming in and the gums were swollen and infected. He's fine now though. He's also got a loose tooth in front :)
I've decided I want to get back into playing live music while I can this pregnancy, so I this is the guitar John is getting me. I think it will be really nice to have a classical guitar for many of the styles I play. I am anxious to get gigs in Frisco, but not til we get back from California.
#4, Eusty, is my chubby bubby. Had his checkup and is almost 20 lbs! and teething...
This ones just got my jealous genes and wants attention all the time...
My big kids are pretty good most of the time. We took a walk in the humid afternoon at the Frisco sports complex.
My mother's helper Emily comes about 1 or 2 times weekly, so I will hopefully be able to balance the schooling, cleaning, cooking, and music for a while before I get to big this pregnancy. We should find out the sex when we get back, but based on how tired and nauseous I felt in the early weeks, I think it's a girl. I am about 10 weeks and 4 days now.

Soccer Party @ Hodge House!

Even though our final tournaments got rained out last saturday, we kept our end of season party on sunday since it was already planned and everything. We had a good turnout and it was beautiful weather. Besides juggling Frankie & Eustace between me, mom, Amanda and Susan, the only real problem was the flies. Yuck! We should have set up our fan to blow them away because the traps did nothing :( unfortunately the flooding we have had the past few months made them worse.

I didn't get too many good pictures this time, but here's what I have---a few kids left before getting to the fun stuff----the water balloons, silly string, bubbles and poppers!
We got this play water table for the toddlers, but the older kids played it in too :)
Amanda & Kevin got here early to help with everything...even the night before :)

Layla was ready for fun!
Surprisingly no major injuries..that I know of?!

Everett and John talking about work..:P
Dranks...and a couple hundred water balloons hidden behind the kiddie pool. John worked hard on those!
Boys playing gladiator...and then Lucas hiding behind balls haha.

James and Kim stopped by to drop off the Costco pizzas.. and make out haha

Frankie was too scared to go jump, so he watched at the window.
 Our premature-celebratory cake!
Frankie liked Gary :) He's a good dad.
Barrett gets down on some cheese pizza while John cuts the cake
 Time for water balloons!
 These bins were very heavy!

This is a nice shot of Susan's back--just before walking into the line of fire and getting a water balloon to the stomach! (from superman no less!)

Here we have Travis bombing Lucas:

Now it's time for silly string:

Here's my mom looking nice in white--she asked me to play some music. It was good practice so I obliged :)

Justin, John's coworker played a bit too! I hope some friends will come to my gigs if I play a few this year--I usually go alone and sit alone and pig out on my breaks :P

It was a beautiful day and we had fun. The kids were all well-behaved and we are anxious to play our tournaments next weekend!
